Event of the year

The  Exchange Analyser is available on CD. The demonstration version can be download from the Internet.
Hypersoft's Exchange Analyser is the only available tool at the market to collect consolidated tracking information for large MS Exchange organisations. This distributed client-server application leverages Open Context data messaging technology to produce full tracking databases across multi-server Exchange installations. It contains the full list of Events for each message, builds the Messages Delivery Diagram, calculates the percentage of messages delivered within a given time period, and collects other valuable information. Exchange Analyser was successfully tested in organisations with as many as hundreds MS Exchange Servers.

Hypersoft is preparing the first pilot test of the new software for Management by Project. This will be a unique networking product, which helps to increase productivity for all project-related work. Management by Project (MbPro) works for different corporate structures and includes instruments for planning and realisation of projects in the process of co-operative work. The software includes also a workplan programme to create descriptions of material, manpower, workplace, documentation and use these descriptions for standard operating procedures. MbPro is based on the Open Context messaging technology and uses Microsoft Exchange Server as its messaging backbone.

Exit Direct GmbH of Potsdam, Germany will use Hypersoft data messaging technology for its new confidential depot service. High security of the real-time transactions, distributed database configuration and workflow based on the Open Context technology will ensure the necessary reliability and privacy of the service.

In October Hypersoft is celebrating its fifth anniversary. The five years in the communication business will be marked by the official release of a new unique messaging product. The Exchange Analyser will be the first complete metric tool in the market for large Exchange installations. Its general statistic capabilities such as measuring traffic volume and number of messages are combined with state-of-the-art tracking logs analysis to determine mail delivery times. Such a combination is the best available statistic and reporting tool for for networks with numerous Microsoft Exchange Servers.

The annual shareholders meeting of Hypersoft confirmed positive results of the 1997 business year. This was a decisive year in re-structuring the business activities of the company to concentrate on core business, which is messaging technology and groupware.
New products developed in 1997 and in the first half of 1998 do already contribute a significant portion into the Hypersoft business. This trend will continue into 1999, to achieve a healthy balance of product sales and consulting activities.

A leading hypersoft consultant demonstrated excellent qualifications in Implementing and Supporting Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5, which is widely recognised as Microsoft's most complicated certification examination. The certificate was obtained from the Authorized Prometric Testing Center in London.

The new data format of the medical databases in the Hololog software gives a possibility to access data with any standard hypertext browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. That means Hololog databases may be available locally as well as on the Internet equally easily.

The feasibility study for the Open Context data messaging technology is successfully completed. This project (co-ordinated by Hypersoft) is being supported by the European Commission in the framework of its ESPRIT programme. This support is yet another sign of the growing attention to our messaging know-how. The EC funding made possible comprehensive feasibility tests within a consortium of three high-tech companies in Germany, France and Ireland. Summary of the feasibility study results is available on this Web site. The feasibility study for the Open Context data messaging technology is successfully completed. Dr. Serguei Dobrinevski, the director of Hypersoft, has given a  lecture on MbPro technology at the 4th International Project Management Symposium in Zurich, Switzerland, organised by Rhenus Projektmanagement AG and Microsoft Corp. MbPro (that stands for Management by Project) is a joint software project of Hypersoft and Schaller Automation KG in Blieskastel, Germany. This software is designed to facilitate project-based corporate management at middle-size companies. MbPro provides users with client-server environment that integrates corporate-wide project management activities on the basis of MS Exchange and MS Project software.

A new software instrument, which helps office employees to report to their appropriate managers as often as required by the company guidelines is being developed at Hypersoft. The software is designed as a client-server application, whereas the reports are requested and collected automatically per e-mail. The reporting requests appear periodically in a message box individually for each employee. The report has to be typed in is then forwarded to the appropriate mailbox where they are summarised and prepared for time accounting and other personnel management needs.
